Police have obtained new CCTV footage of a 13-year-old girl who has been missing for a week. Lillia, from Bolton, was last seen by her family the previous Friday. However, later that same evening, she was spotted at Manchester’s Piccadilly bus station and then the following day at the Trafford Centre.
Authorities have been actively distributing hundreds of leaflets in an effort to find Lillia. Recently, they shared additional video showing her at a McDonald’s restaurant in Piccadilly on Sunday at approximately 8:20 pm BST. This new evidence is part of the ongoing search to locate the teenager.
Chief Superintendent Inspector Helen Critchley of Greater Manchester Police stated, “Officers are making every effort to locate Lillia, and our team have been working through hours of CCTV footage and exploring every avenue to try and find her.” The police remain dedicated to following all leads in the case.
During a press briefing on Thursday, Critchley conveyed a heartfelt message from Lillia’s mother, Jessica. She said, “Lillia, if you see this appeal, please know your family love you, miss you and just want to know that you are safe. You are not in any trouble, they simply want you to come home.
