The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that two men have been formally charged following the discovery of a man’s body inside a suitcase in a wooded area. Joshua Miller, aged 32, who resides at Kingfisher Court in Wandsworth, faces charges of murder and preventing a lawful burial. Alongside him, 27-year-old Jamie Cooper, also from Kingfisher Court, has been charged with preventing a lawful burial.
Police were initially dispatched to a block of flats at Kingfisher Court, near Queensmere Road in Wandsworth, at 10:55 pm BST on Thursday evening. Upon arrival, officers did not find anyone at the residence. However, the circumstances suggested that someone may have been injured there, prompting the launch of a thorough investigation.
The following day, authorities extended their search to a wooded location in Borstal, Kent, where they discovered the body of a man. The investigation continues as police work to establish the full details surrounding the case.
